Mini web pages for
online groups
|
Would your community woodland group like
its own website to promote its woodland activities?
Currently within the online community you can create a profile page for your
particular group and add details of what you do. Individuals within your group can then
add themselves in to the group profile, and so a list of all your online members
will be built up.
This gives your group its own identity within the forum and other users can
not only see an individual's personal profile but also the profile
of the group they are part of.
This is all part of the online community and these areas containing group
details can only be accessed
by registered users.
We would like to extend the functionality of the group profile pages to
allow chosen individuals within a group to update and maintain
additional pages to create a mini website for the group.
These group mini web pages will
be available to anyone on
the internet, and will link back to the online community to encourage people to
register and get involved.
These mini web pages will allow groups to promote events and activities,
and each site will have its own unique web address.
If you are interested in creating your own pages, we would be interested to
hear your views on this new development. Please click
here to contact us.
