"Giant Trees - the conservation of ancient trees". April 10th and 11th
All around southern Sweden there are giant trees like the Bosjöklost Oak. The majority of them stand in old cultural landscapes, pastures, avenues, parks or infill pastures. The trees are a cultural product in great need of management if they are to survive. The seminar will consider the issues surrounding how to identify such ancient trees, how they can be managed and how they will be conserved for the future. For further info click here
