This is no ordinary oak it is not only ancient but also host to the RDB lichen Caloplaca lucifuga and local rarity Rinodina roboris. It is seriously threatened by a heap of salt placed on its roots by Powy Highways. Please help us to protect ancient trees – let us know if you see similar threats and contact the local Tree Officer to engage their help in finding a long term solution.
