I am an arboriculturist and work with trees everyday, mostly working in or on them via a rope and harness! Since I was 15years old, I'm now 39! so 24 years or thereabouts!

I am extremely passionate about fungi and arbor-ecology, and have a website called www.arb-mycota.com which I am currently developing, so it's a bit basic at the moment.

I am also writing two books (long term projects!) both on fungi in relation to trees, and currently doing some field research on auricularia mesenterica A.K.A the tripe fungi.

A certified VTA ( visual tree assessment) practitioner attained under Prof Claus himself so the "body language of trees" is a rather specialist skill of mine and one of the major draws to the ancient tree for me as I revel in decifering the expressions in the ancient tree forms.
