Edward Foster Artist
Edward Foster is a self taught professional artist living and working in
Great Harwood, Lancashire.
Edward has exhibited his artwork many times and his paintings are
collected throughout the Country. He has also been featured on many
occasions in the media. These include national and local magazines and
newspapers, local radio, and television.
A lot of his artwork deals with the natural world from large colourful
paintings of birdsong to detailed pictures of trees. Trees feature a lot
in many of his artworks and he is currently working on a book of tree
drawings.
“I love trees, from gnarled old oaks sitting comfortably through time,
to resplendent beech woods golden in autumn. They are such a fascinating
subject to paint and draw.”
He also teaches how to draw trees as well as other subjects.
