This event aims to introduce foresters, land-managers and others to current
thinking about mycorrhizae and their importance in woodland ecology.
The workshop sessions will include:
- An introduction to the different forms of mycorrhizae
- How mycorrhizae affect tree growth
- The role of mycorrhizae in woodland ecology and establishing new
native woodlands
- Practical management techniques for promoting mycorrhizal fungi
