of mycorrhizae in woodlands

This event aims to introduce foresters, land-managers and others to current thinking about mycorrhizae and their importance in woodland ecology.
The workshop sessions will include:
  • An introduction to the different forms of mycorrhizae
  • How mycorrhizae affect tree growth
  • The role of mycorrhizae in woodland ecology and establishing new native woodlands
  • Practical management techniques for promoting mycorrhizal fungi
